New phone in the house

New phone! I finally wait until my contract finished and bought a new phone. Yay!

It is a black 16gb iPhone 4S. My first iPhone. Yup, I have waited all these years and now finally. ;) I was going for a white 32gb, but when I reserve my phone, they only has black-16gb and 64gb. I don't "need" a 64gb, so the smaller one. I went to Apple shortly after 9 on Friday and I brought Gigi with me (yay for U-Village being dog-friendly and so is Apple). :) They allow dogs in there. And Gigi behaved very well. We were greeted by a "greeter", then we were transferred to the person who transferred my old contract... then another person to show me how the phone works (I was the first in line. LOL.). The guy helped me put a little slit in the shrinkwrap on the box and let me do the ripping. :) And let me handle my new phone the whole process (he has not touch the phone at all) It's very thoughtful. If I spent that much money on a phone, I'd love to rip it open. LOL. The guy was doing a good job explaining how the phone works and answering my questions.

More "difficulties" when I got home. Syncing was ok, but from time to time it did weird things, like removing all my songs and videos. I am not going to put too much emphasis on songs and fun and game, because they kill battery. And I have a hard time figuring out how to put ring tone. That was hard. LOL. Really. But these links helped:

how to sync ringtone:
http://www.cnet.com.au/how-to-make-your-own-iphone-ringtones-339291124.htm

This video helped, because I was clueless. And the ring tones that came with the phone is kind of blah, so I actually NEED my own ring tone. :) And now I have them.

All in all I love my purchase and my new phone. I love tweaking it into my own liking and style. I want it to be healthy and long live. haha.

The phone has great camera. This is one of the many pictures I have took. Cute, huh?

FAQ for me:
Q: How do u disconnect an incoming call on the iphone?
A: Press the power button once to stop the ringing and twice to disconnect.

Q: Instructions on how to reboot a stuck iPhone?
A:
  1. Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.
  2. Hold them both until you see the screen go black.
  3. Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
  4. When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.
An iPhone reset will not normally remove or delete any data or settings. However, the term reset is also sometimes used to mean deleting all content from the iPhone and/or restoring from a backup.
