Infused oil and salve

Taking advantage of the snow day, I got busy.



I infused oil and made salve. Here are some pics. :)


Chickweed and plantain with EVOO and jojoba oil in the jar in the hot water bath getting infused low and slow for a couple hours.


After a few hours. Straining. Trying to trap all the good oil in the bottom container.


Made 8 little jars in 1/6oz jars and 1 bigger jar in a 4oz jar. 2 little bottle of infused oil and I am putting the rest in a bottle for my next batch of salve. I added beeswax into the infused to make the salve. Simple and easy.

Salves are easy to make. If you want to make a simple moisturizer at home, just mix EVOO and (melted) beeswax, pour in a small container, let it harden. An instant simple moisturizer for your hands and body. :)
