How do you use your salve? Do you just swipe the surface to get a film of salve and then spread? How often do you use it?

There is no right or wrong answer, I am just curious.
For me, I pretty much use it as my source of moisturizer. And when I use my salve, I REALLY dig in and scoop out a glob of salve and apply it everywhere. I could have easily used 1/4 of a tiny jar at one time. And I reapply a lot throughout the day.

Skin confession

I have been having skin issue all my life... mostly minor or if I go to the dermatologist it will eventually go away in a few days. The worst ones I have happened last year, it's unbearable and super uncomfortable. It's everywhere and just plain unpleasant. I have started making lip balm then and noticed I could incorporate healing ingredients into a balm and use it that way conveniently and that's when I start my research and begin making my salve. I have been using them everyday as a moisturizer and whenever I sense a little itching. They don't completely immediately heal the discomfort, but it does give relief... and sometimes that's all you need, to stop the itches. I don't know about you, but for me if I am not itchy, then I won't scratch... because once I start scratching, it's not easy to stop. I have also been using the oil on my scalp too. Salve and oil may not be a fast cure, but it helps in the process to minimize tempting scratching situation.

Good morning! Gigi is still having tummy trouble. :( My poor baby. He had to go potty in the middle of the night. Now she is back to strict kibbles-only diet.

New business cards and Gigi update

Today I got my order of my new business card. They are so cute. I can't be happier. I bought some rounded regular sized card and just more of my usual mini cards. I love them so much. :)

Healed ouchie

Gigi will have a recheck with the vet again this Sunday. She really is healing nicely. It may not too pretty, but it's healed and that's what's important. It's kind of dry and still a bit "rugged"... so I will be applying some balm on her spot to smooth it out and moisturized her skin as well. :)

Ok, I am guilty, I only sell my "left over" on Etsy. I made the salves for my skin, but I can't use that many jars, so I am sharing with you. I planned to use them on Gigi too, but the vet told me nothing and no bath on her until the stitches are back to "normal"... I know she will get a scar. Sigh. So anyway, I infused some oils with my favorite herbs. They came in 1 oz jar. That's like powered up oil (with herb).

Stitches are out. But the site is still pretty "rugged" and we need to go back again next week. So the shirt is still on. It said ROCK STAR. :-). She is my rock star.

And Gigi had scrambled eggs as celebratory treats. :D
